Our most popular fall workshop! We'll spend about 30 minutes discussing how to grow everyone's favorite fall flower - dahlias. Topics will include site selection, varieties, and pest/disease control. After a brief tour of the farm, we'll move into the design portion of the class. Participants will be lead through a demo and then get to make their own medium compote arrangement featuring dahlias and other blooms. All materials provided. Feel free to BYO snacks and drinks. Read below for our weather policy. While our classes typically fill up, we require a minimum of 6 people for this class to be held.

Weather Policy: Classes are taught outdoors on our working flower farm and weather is always a risk. All classes have a set rain date. In the event heavy rain or thunderstorms are predicted, we will notify attendees at least 4 hours in advance that the workshop is rescheduled. Participants will be notified via email and should be sure to add us to their email safe list. If the rain date is also rained out, we will cancel the class and refund attendees. Classes are otherwise non-refundable for any reason, but can be transferred to a friend. The rain date for this class is September 24, 2-3:30pm.

Frost Policy: This class date is close to our historical first frost date, which is becoming more difficult to predict due to volatile weather patterns. If we experience a frost before the class, we may need to cancel due to flower unavailability. If this happens, tickets will be refunded.
